my name is rickey don.i've been writing since high school but only started playing guitar after my father died seven years ago.i'm not seriously interested in performing although i have played a few bars and parties. i am very interested in getting into the songwriting business and being known as a songwriter.
my style of writing is hard to confine but the closest thing to it would be americana. my most critical friends say i write too many sad songs but have come up with some decent upbeat and even humorous tunes. but sad is where its at for me. everyone needs a good tear-jerker from time to time.
